The entire product lifecycle in the technical sector – from initial prototype development and product design to extensive testing (e.g. fire tests), technical documentation, and finally the phase-out of products at the end of their lifecycle – is covered. Participation in research projects, thermal and flow simulations, as well as involvement in industry associations, standardisation, and guideline development are also key aspects. The resulting product portfolio forms the foundation of TROX’s success – ranging from energy-efficient ventilation components to sustainable HVAC systems and building automation solutions.

The IT sector plays a crucial role at TROX, with approximately 3,000 IT users worldwide and a strong focus on international business and IT strategy. Our digitalisation agenda includes several key areas and initiatives aimed at transforming IT from a cost factor into a competitive advantage. The Sales division of TROX SE covers all sales activities – from customer acquisition and support to quotation preparation, order processing, and contract negotiations. Our sales team operates nationwide across six branches. Employees analyse market trends and competitive activities and continuously optimise sales strategies. They also represent TROX at trade fairs (e.g. ISH) and industry events to acquire new customers.

At our German production sites in Neukirchen-Vluyn and Anholt, around 900 employees contribute significantly to the company’s success by ensuring efficient manufacturing of our products. Topics such as production planning and control, resource management, and capacity planning play a key role.

The procurement function at TROX is divided into Project, Commodity, and Indirect Procurement. Project and Commodity Procurement ensure that purchasing processes are clearly structured and efficiently managed. Project Procurement handles procurement activities within projects, while Commodity Procurement focuses on optimising supplier relationships in terms of cost and quality. Indirect Procurement covers materials such as operating resources. Sustainability also plays an important role in procurement.

The finance function covers a wide range of tasks, including financial planning and analysis, accounting and bookkeeping, cost control and management, taxation, risk management, reporting, and internal controls. It is therefore essential for the sustainable development and long-term success of TROX.

The Production department covers a wide range of responsibilities, from planning and coordination to the execution and supervision of construction projects. It is also responsible for maintaining our buildings and managing the company’s fleet. As a result, Production plays a key role in the successful delivery of projects and contributes significantly to value creation and the long-term success of TROX.

The IB department at TROX is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring international business activities. This includes market analysis and entry strategies, business development and expansion, as well as trade and distribution strategies. Overall, the department aims to maximise global business opportunities while managing the risks and challenges of international markets.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at TROX focuses on sustainability, social responsibility, ethical behaviour, stakeholder engagement, as well as transparency and reporting. The goal is to ensure long-term corporate success while making a positive contribution to society.

The Human Resources/Legal affairs department at TROX manages all aspects of the employee lifecycle as well as HR strategy. Key topics include workforce planning and recruitment, employee development and support, as well as compensation and employee health. In addition, the department ensures a legally compliant working environment, contributing to the company’s long-term success.

The TROXcellence department focuses on the continuous improvement of structures, workflows, and processes across the TROX Group. Key activities include process analysis and the development of solutions in close collaboration with employees, teams, and departments. In this way, TROXcellence contributes to a strong and high-performance organisation and supports sustainable company growth.
